On social networks, Imam Hassen Chalghoumi expressed his deep concern about the growing radicalization of some French youth via the Internet and social networks. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his message, he describes &#8220;fragile&#8221; teenagers exposed daily to content of hatred, victimization and Islamist propaganda likely to feed a feeling of revenge against the Republic and French society. Hassen Chalghoumi believes that this ideological mechanism can lead some young people to turn to violence, recalling the attacks that have hit France in recent years. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The imam calls for a general mobilization of families, schools, religious leaders and public authorities in order to stop this rise of extremism. In particular, he insists on the role of imams and educators in the prevention of radicalisation and the defence of republican values. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, Hassen Chalghoumi thanked the security forces and intelligence services for their preventive work.
